Hospitality & Tourism—This pathway teaches students about careers in the hospitality and travel industry, including lodging, tourism, and event planning. Students learn about the importance of organizational management, communication, consumer behavior, and customer service.

Some of the jobs include:

  • Food service manager
  • Lodging manager
  • Meeting, convention, and event planner
  • Tour guide
  • Travel agent

*Some of these jobs require additional education and certifications once a student graduates from high school.

  • Certiport Entrepreneurship and Small Business Certification
  • ACT National Career Readiness Certification

***Many Microsoft®️ Office certificates can be earned after completing one course. Other certificates require more classes to be better prepared, and students who participate in the program for at least two years will have further preparation for certification testing.
