Student Spotlight: Logan 

A Journey from Passion to Entrepreneurship 

As we celebrate the accomplishments of our recent graduates, it is with great pride that we shine the spotlight on Logan, a 2024 graduate from Pikes Peak Online School. Balancing a full-time job at Sugar Mill Antiques and Vintage Depot with his studies, Logan’s journey exemplifies determination and entrepreneurial spirit. 

Logan’s academic path was not without its challenges. Traditional brick-and-mortar schooling proved difficult, leading him to Pikes Peak Online School where he thrived in an environment tailored to his needs. At Pikes Peak Online School, Logan found value in the school’s credit recovery program, allowing him to focus and graduate on time, proving that the right educational environment is key to student success. 

Beyond academics, Logan’s passion for cars sparked a business venture. Alongside his friend Caitlin, and under the mentorship of Caitlin’s mother, a successful business owner, Logan co-founded NOCO Suds and Scrubs, LLC. This car detailing business, named after their Northern Colorado roots, was launched in the early summer of 2024. Offering luxury car detailing services within a one-hour radius of Platteville, they have quickly established a robust client base, adapting their services to include a surcharge for areas outside their normal operating zone and providing referrals when necessary. 

The duo manages to detail about three cars daily and has adapted their business model to accommodate multiple vehicles, a service particularly popular among families. Their success has already spurred a second entrepreneurial venture, “The Friendly Fern,” launched in the summer of 2024, diversifying their business interests and preparing for seasonal fluctuations. 

With a clear vision for the future, Logan plans to expand NOCO Suds and Scrubs to include car wrapping and tinting over the next decade. Recognizing the challenges of detailing during the colder months, he also intends to gain skills as a mechanic to maintain steady work year-round. 

Outside of his professional endeavors, Logan is an avid car enthusiast, particularly fond of building tuner cars like Subarus. This hobby not only fuels his entrepreneurial ventures but also provides a creative outlet. 

Logan’s story is a testament to the power of resilience, the importance of a supportive learning environment, and the boundless potential of innovative thinking. As he continues to build upon his ventures, Logan stands as a beacon of inspiration for current and future students at Pikes Peak Online School, proving that with passion and perseverance, any dream can be turned into a reality.
