Pikes Peak Online School, Class of 2025 Celebrates with In-Person Graduation Ceremony 

On Tuesday, May 21, 2025, the Pikes Peak Online School Class of 2025 community came together at the Colorado School of Mines in Golden to celebrate a powerful milestone: High School Graduation.  

For students who have completed their high school journey in a virtual setting, this day represented more than just a diploma; it was a moment of unity, pride, and personal triumph. Pikes Peak Online School proudly honored 141 students during their ceremony. 

The Pikes Peak Online School Class of 2025 earned far more than academic credit. Their accomplishments reflected a strong commitment to the future, with 60 students heading to college, 32 already stepping into careers, and 15 entering military service. Additionally, this class included six early graduates who have completed high school ahead of schedule, along with students who earned more than $121,000 in scholarships collectively and an industry-recognized certification that will give them a head start in their chosen field. 

This year’s valedictorian, Aidan, exemplifies academic excellence and leadership. Salutatorian Vontel not only rose to the top of the class but also completed an entire marketing program through Pickens Technical College, demonstrating how Pikes Peak Online School students embrace both academic and career readiness.  

Pikes Peak Online School graduates have continually defied expectations and risen to challenges. Others among this year’s standout students are Tessa, Natalie, and Abrianna, who have all been accepted into Colorado’s ASCENT program, allowing them to continue their education at the college level tuition-free while gaining valuable career experience. Lastly, Jordan, earned major scholarships to help fuel their future academic journey. 

Each story represents a unique path made possible through the adaptability of online learning, a journey that includes personalized pacing, individual support, and the freedom to explore both academic and career passions

Held on the beautiful campus of the Colorado School of Mines, this graduation was a long-awaited opportunity for Pikes Peak Online School students, families, and teachers to gather in person and reflect on a shared achievement. It was a moment of recognition for students who studied independently, collaborated virtually, and came together to close one chapter and begin the next. 

As the Class of 2025 steps forward, into college classrooms, military bases, job sites, and beyond, Pikes Peak Online School celebrates not just where they’ve been, but where they’re going. Their accomplishments are the first of many milestones to come.
